Hotel Conca D'Oro - Positano

Fine views from the terrace, but access was tough with many steep steps.

Unique hip new hotel with highly professional staff members from receptionists to waiters...

Whole place was perfectly clean with special views; best possible location down to the main centre square. The breakfast was substantial and rich, had lots of food like pastries and fruit. Had an enjoyable stay on vacation and will be returning here soon.

Fairly clean property with amazingly attentive staff from receptionists to waiters. Amazing and lovely location just a pleasant stroll away from Spiaggia del Fornillo.

Very nice experience there. The hotel with well-appointed rooms, in a shopping area, far to walk to town centre. A mini fridge bar, coffee/tea making facilities and a work desk in the room and the good bed. All the staff was willing to help. Public parking, good service. Great pool to relax in too👍

Plan ahead for luggage transport. Consider hiring a porter to ease your arrival stress. The stairs are quite steep!

The view from the room was amazing. With a small private balcony to enjoy the sundown was just perfect!

There are a few stairs to reach the hotel and its about 15mins walking to the city center; but there is someone that will help you carry your bags up to the hotel and also a bus stop just outside the hotel that will take you to town if you don't feel like walking...

Getting to the hotel reminded me of a trek out of a wild adventure. You've got about 107 steps from the taxi drop-off that seem never-ending. If you're arriving by ferry with luggage, be prepared for a hike and consider a porter-though you might feel a bit misled if you weren't informed about this. The noise insulation in the room left a bit to be desired. You'll hear your neighbors chatting away, so don't expect total peace at night unless you're a heavy sleeper. Plus, the shower was cramped-a real challenge for anyone over six feet tall. For the price, some could find the amenities a tad basic. I sure expected a little more from a place that costs this much.

No internet service in bedrooms and very limited in reception area if on your own computer using the hotel internet service.

The town is built on a cliff, so it should be noted that a lot of walking is to be expected. This hotel was only accessible via a number of steep steps and as such is difficult to get to for anyone not particularly mobile

Only drawback is the 103 steps up to the hotel lobby, however, great way to burn off great meals!

Location and views were spectacular. Loved the solarium terrace where you can sun yourself and enjoy a drink or lunch.

Very high up in positano. Many stairs to climb to reach the hotel, difficult with luggage although staff was very helpful with this.
